Our story
A light in the window.
Delta Lantern started with a simple idea: the river towns of the Sacramento Delta always kept a light on for whoever was coming home late. We wanted a café that felt like that light.
So we built a small room with big windows, a long oak bar, and lanterns hanging low enough to make 4pm feel like golden hour. We roast in small batches, bake every morning, and keep the music just loud enough to hum along to.
What we believe
- Good coffee isn’t fussy. We’ll happily talk origin and extraction — or just hand you something delicious.
- Fresh means today. Pastries are baked on site; whatever’s left at close goes to a local food pantry.
- Neighbors first. Our walls rotate local art every season, and the corner table is always open for a study group.

The slow bar
Every cup, by hand
Our pour-overs are brewed one at a time on a dedicated bar. Pull up a stool, ask what’s on rotation, and watch the bloom.
